Home again

Hi folks,

we know it has been quiet a while since our last blogentry. I really can't tell why it took us such a long time to give you some updates.

Now let's stick to the important things:

• We are back to germany! On 1. March we arrived in Hamburg and after we readjusted to the german affection for rules, my unkle brought us and our bikes home.
• Then it took us about two or threee weeks to just arrive and afterwards we started looking for jobs. Christina was able to teach in primary school right away, and after some short time I have been able to work as a software developper in a nearby town.
• We both are really enjoying our work at the moment and of course we enjoy playing with our two dogs Al Capone and Pamina. We got them both from shelters last summer.
• Since last month we also have a new home. We just switched with Christinas grandparents, that are now living with Christinas parents. That means we are now living in a house for our own, with a lot of space and a garden. Christinas grandparents are visiting us from time to time and are sharing their rich set of experiences concerning the wine and other plants in the garden.

By the way: Christinas grandparents just celebrated their 70. wedding anniversary. Isn't that incredible? We really enjoy hearing their stories about former times and we will try to renew some traditions like smoking our own ham and perhaps playing zither.

Now I have to go to bed. I'm getting a cold and so I really should rest a bit.
